We pride ourselves in offering a safe, organized, undercurrent for people of all month to learn and relate to animals without the need for ownership. We lead fun and educational birthday parties and events for children and adults alike.Our zoos are primarily on the weekends, though part-time weekday positions may moreover be available.If you think you’ve got what it takes to be a part of our unrenowned team, we’d love to meet you! animal handler and educatorTEAM MEMBER EXPECTATIONS:Provide “epic consumer service.” Being outgoing, humorous, friendly and a strong age-appropriate communicator are  top priorities.Have a cheerful and out-going personalityInteract with customers of all month in a way that fosters empathy, curiosity, and confidenceBe knowledgeable well-nigh our animals and related topicsEstablish and enforce rules for behavior, and procedures for maintaining orderMonitor safety and well stuff of all animals and participantsBe prepared for outdoor and indoor work environmentDrive safely with hands self-ruling mobile device directionsPoint of Sale/CashieringMaintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and facilitiesResponsible for delivery, set-up, and clean-upFast-paced event staffingLead groups of children to sing a songOther duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS:Must be 18 years or older to applyMust have a reliable car (4-door sedan or larger with working heat/air conditioning) and wipe driving record. A reprinting of insurance and valid driver's license must be given surpassing trainingMust have an iPhone or Android smartphone with wangle to Google Maps and hands self-ruling device for carPunctual and preparedMust be worldly-wise to multi-task and problem solveSelf-starter, worldly-wise to work independently or with little directionFriendly demeanor, must enjoy stuff virtually people of all agesExcellent liaison skills, worldly-wise to work within a teamMust possess a upper level of honesty, integrity, and ethicsAble to reach, wrench and lift up to 25 poundsAble to work on your feet for long periods of time PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience with Children, Entertainment Field or RelatedConsumerService ExperienceExperience and repletion handling animalsExperience and repletion in working outdoorsKnowledge of, talent for, and enthusiasm for learning vital natural history/zoology/ecology concepts and teaching them to othersAvailability to work weekends.  (Weekday work may moreover be available! Please let us know if you’re interested). Must be worldly-wise to work a flexible schedule. Preference will be given to those worldly-wise to work increasingly hours.   COMPENSATION:Starting pay is $11..50 per hour plus gas reimbursement for every event you momentum animals or supplies to.
